What is Domestic Assistance?

Domestic Assistance is a practical support service aimed at helping individuals manage their everyday household tasks. The goal of this program is to ensure your home environment remains safe, hygienic, and comfortable, allowing you to focus your time and energy on the things you enjoy most.

Our respectful support workers can assist with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor chores. We take the time to understand exactly how you like your home to be kept, ensuring our support is unobtrusive and perfectly aligned with your standards and routines.

Who Can Access This Program?

This program is accessible to NDIS participants with approved funding for relevant supports, as well as older Australians who are eligible for Support at Home services. We tailor our involvement to meet the unique household needs and funding arrangements of each individual, and we also happily accommodate self-funded clients.

Relay Your Care can assist with everyday household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen and other reasonable activities that help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home.
Yes. Depending on your individual needs and support arrangements, our workers can assist with tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, laundry and changing bed linen.
Yes. We can provide basic gardening and light outdoor assistance where this forms part of your agreed support. This may include simple tasks that help maintain a safe and comfortable outdoor area. We do not provide specialist landscaping or major garden maintenance.
Household Tasks support can be arranged according to your individual needs, preferred schedule and available funding. We will discuss your support requirements with you before services commence.
Household Tasks may be funded through the NDIS where the support is reasonable and necessary and included within your approved funding arrangements. We can discuss your NDIS plan and support needs with you before services commence.
